Permit Transfer

Under Oklahoma law, water rights transfer with the land upon property conveyance. The transfer application requires documentation of the land sale, including deed reference, closing date, and both seller and buyer information.

Conditions for Approval
Valid Existing Permit
The original permit must be in Active status.
Documented Land Conveyance
The applicant must provide recorded deed and closing documentation proving the property has been sold to the new owner.
No Outstanding Violations
The permit must not have any outstanding compliance violations at the time of transfer.
