Permit Amendment
Amendments & TransfersAllows modification of an existing water use permit. Common amendments include changing the use type, increasing the allocated volume, relocating a well or diversion point, or modifying the land description. The amendment must reference the existing permit number and provide justification for the requested change.

Conditions for Approval
Valid Existing Permit
The original permit must be in Active status and good standing.
Justified Change
The amendment must be supported by a valid operational, legal, or technical justification.
Basin Compliance (Volume Increases)
If increasing the allocated volume, the new total must not exceed the basin MAY allocation for the parcel.
